Headers installation and ideal pipe size for mufflers

Hello, im a new user off acurazine im from DR im going to installation new headers on my acura tl and i need to know what sizeof piping i needed to replace the oem ones, im going to use the original mufflers tips in the car.

I hate to tell you, but (technically) there aren't any headers for the car.

In place of traditional "headers" I would recommend Pre-Cat Deletes or a J-pipe.

I think the pre cat deletes are 2.5" into a 2.5" J-Pipe out to a full 2.5" exhaust that splits into 2.25" pipes to two mufflers.

Obviously the cat back depends on the exhaust you buy or fab. You can use whatever size pipe your heart desires.

Insert "want" and the complete thought is there. You could always rebuild your engine with second gen heads if you really want headers
