I have a question regarding these pads...On a set of cross drilled rotors, do they make lots of noise, squeaks? In cold and hot weather?

I am debating on getting these pads or the PBR 1/2 Carbon Fibre 1/2 metallic

I heard that HPS pads are noisy, at least on a 6MT car. These suppose to be much quieter and longer lasting than HPS according to Hawk but alas with less bite. You might get some noise backing up but going forward should be quiet. The stock pads are ceramic as well, btw.

 

your sure the oems arent metallic?
