Hawk brake pads for the 6-speed?
I want to buy some Hawk brake pads for my six-speed. I found them at tirerack.com.
Couple of questions:
They list, Cerramic, Street, and Race applications, what does everyone recommend? (I do not race or autocross my vehicle).
The pads are listed as special order, has anyone ordered from them, how long does it take to receive them?
Thanks,

I used the HPS (street) for my brake job.
$115.00 from the local Subi dealership.
do note that the part # for the TL and STI are different, the STI pads are slightly thicker, but still work just fine.

I installed Rotex Kevlar Golds last April. I deliberately did not wash the wheels for two months to note the dusting (I have an '04 manual). I estimate the dusting dropped between 80 and 90%.
Expect to lose some braking efficiency when you go do a low dust pad. But for street use, you'll be fine.
