Question...(and not questioning your choice at all...looks dang good!)
Are the solid strut bars in any way better than the ones like this with the pivot point in it? Does the solid type make em any stiffer? The OEM is a solid type (no pivot joint) and the Neuspeed is the same way...but the greddy type has that pivot point in it? Does this effect anything at all? I ask because this is something I have always wondered. I do have one just like this mfg'd by Rod Millen on my Lexus GS....so I have experienced both and have always wondered this about these two basic strut bar designs and why they differed and what effect, if any, it might have?

I would assume a one solid piece design will be less likely to bend or flex.
The 3 piece design with the end plates and middle connector allow for adjustability and are certainly easier to install.

But that was something I wondered about.....the ridgidity of the two in comparison to each other. You are running normal TL top hats with that bar too arent you!
I'm relieved to know that it actually fits on the TL and the install went smooth.
Two bolts on each side would certainly be optimal...but i will probably just run the car as is with the TL hats. Maybe one of these days i'll go ahead and switch out the hats for the accord version.

for greddy, those mounting plates look a bit cheapo to me, and i'd be concerned about not having the 2 bolts in it and only the one, this may result in the bar flexing a bit. but good job on taking the chance on it. i personally would have painted the plates black... blue just looks off. or in your case, paint them white.

I think you'll like it..it looks real good and seems to work just fine when executing on and off ramps.

Accuratein, are you still using the Greddy strut bar with just one bolt on each end? If yes, do you think one bolt is enough?
I really don't feel good about drilling into the open metal, I don't want any chance of rusting. I was talking to a few shops, and one of them suggest building a new bracket on top of the 3 bolts of the damper and attach to the greddy bar.

That's actually a good suggestion about making a bracket and welding it to the greddy bar.
Cusco might have something worth checking out.

Accord Pillowball Upper Mounts
TEIN offers front and rear pillowball mounts for the CM5/CM7 Honda Accord.
These should be applicable on the UA6 TL.
Someone order these and confirm.
They should be goldish orange and say TEIN on them.
Part # PRA50-31S70
The second stud for the greddy strut bar should be there as well.
You're welcome!

From my understanding, pillow mounts are bad unless you are going to be autoXing the car. I am not 100% on this, but I rember reading that some where. Its better to stay with standard tops with a good urethane bushing. Please correct me if I am wrong on this.
I ordered my Accord top hats yesterday. I was just curious to know how much someone spent on the Accord ones??

I have also heard that they are bad because unless you are on the track they wear out very fast for the everyday driving.
