AEM V2, CAI K&N are a few of intakes you can consider. All work about the same.

Look here locally in our "black market section." I bought a new AEM V2 for $280 shipped about a year ago. Still working great. Although the best $$$ to HP mod would be a Jpipe. I bought my used RV6 V3 Jpipe in the black market for $330 shipped. Hope this helps! Below is the link to our black market section....

$280?!?!

I got a Fujita F5 for, iirc, $170 shipped. A most excellent noise maker.

Agree on the J-Pipe. Good combo with the intake and probably even better with an aftermarket exhaust.

An intake is an intake is an intake! All they are is pipe with a filter. Just make one.

everyone says make one but I have yet to see someone on this site do it. I wouldn't buy one so I would go the "make one" route but I just don't know how. Isn't there a vacuum line or something coming off the stock intake plastic pipe? What do you do with that?

What I'm going to do, is remove the resonator and add piping so that it extends into the grill area.
Stock cold air intake.
