that doesnt affect dyno numbers.
thats not a different formula or anything like that to measure crank hp...its just a different way of how some manufactures measure the motor's output...such as accessories, long or short tube headers...full or stripped motor.
when the base TL was first rated at 270 hp, then it went down to 258, that doesnt change dyno numbers...it was still 220-230 (for 6 MT)... it couldve been 270 without certain accesories attached to it...then the new 258 number could've been with all accessories... but at the end of the day, a fully assembled production ready motor still puts out the numbers youve first gotten from a dyno, which were around 220-230...dyno doesnt care how u measure and what you get at the crank, or what u rate the motor...it still uses the same resistance on the wheels, and reads HP put out at the wheels (dynojet)

Hello everyone, I own a 05 TL dynamic 6 spd, At my friends shop my car made 232whp with 208 ft/tq. I thought the numbers were very decent due to the cars stock exhaust any No mods under the hood as of yet !
Dyno was a roll on with Smoothing correction 3.
Cheers All !
