i think that's the link for the rear bumper. i might be wrong though. i also don't know what else you might need.
Thanks for the link...
If I don't do the A-SPEC rear, could I just change my base rear to a S-type rear? And if so, is there cutting involved?

The video I saw was from base to A-SPEC which did require cutting.

I want to have all that worked out, because I would love to have my next mod be the quads!!!!

Thanks again,
paweł

basicly what i did is take my rear Aspec lip off had the rear bumper cut out then slapped on the TL TYPE-S lip on the bumper , this way you never know the difference because when the stock exhaust is on itll be perfect all the way through including a wide port y 1.5 inches i think it is. i took mine to acura in chantilly, cause i knew a girl there who did it for a lil cheaper then normal. :-) but yeah look s weird right now with my lil exhaust and wide ports LoL

Hey Jordan, when I got my TL-S A-spec it came with new brackets, i'm sure yours will too.

Let me know when you get it I can give you hand in the install.

you could swap the type-s bumper if you wanted(i dont think any cutting is required) but it would look 10x better with a type-s a-spec rear . and it might be cheaper too.

^ You still have to cut the Type-S bumper for the Type-S A-spec. You would just have to cut less than you would with a base bumper.

does anyone know how much the conversion from base to a type s bumper + type s a-spec lip costs, including labor charges?

is it DIY?

this statement is incorrect! you ONLY have to CUT when you are tryin to mount a TYPE-S rear a-spec on a BASE bumper. Type-s aspec will fit a Type-S bumper just fine

the list isn't "official". its more of a coping mechanism for not knowing whats in store....... the suspense is slowing taking its tow. seeing a ghost list is better than no list.

umm - wrong.

to install a TL Type S A-spec rear under spoiler on a TL Type S rear bumper, you have to cut away some of the material where the exhaust tips come out. i have installed one on a 2007 type s, and i had to cut. to make it worse, the installation instructions are piss poor at telling you where to cut.
