Mike had told me that:
"... This is still a Stromung engineered system, just as the V1's. All our exhaust components are manufactured by Stromung.
The loudness/tone of the exhaust is about the same, maybe 2-5% more tone and detail in the exhaust note ..."
that and the tips are different

So guys, I've haven't been keeping myself up to date with the ATLP quad exhaust and this might be a dumb question. the ATLP QUAD is available now? I just read some recent post and some of you received your quad atlp. /?? /?

And Mike, if you're happen to be on here - Do you think I can just get the ATLP QUAD tips (if it ever available) instead of the whole exhaust? I am currently rolling with the ATLP base exhaust.

If you have 3 its correct. If you still have the stock cat then you should have 3 gasket other wise your good to go.
#619
Do you have the base TL? that might be why its not as loud because those come with the 3.2 engine, right? type-s gives you the 3.5 upgrade

hmm looks like iwas missing one
The 3.2 has a sportier and peppier note where as the 3.5 has a more aggressive note. I'm curious to see how this will sound on the 3.7 motor.

The Non-resonated systems went out first, and the resonated systems are going out by this week.
Exhaust should only come with 3 of the 2 hole gaskets. The one connecting to the 3rd catalyst (3 hole triangle) gasket is no included as the factory catalyst has a built in O-ring. And if you do have that replaced with a Race Pipe or J-Pipe that should have came with a gasket on that end.

also, would resonated systems be quieter? i wasnt aware that there were two different exhausts offered and would have much prefered something a little more low key

Another option would be getting a resonator welded in locally. If you are seeking this option, e-mail me and I can advise you on a proper resonator based on your needs.

I spent a total of 4 hours with the car on ramps starting at midnight last night. I was on a mission to get this done myself... and then my neighbor who works at Advance Auto Parts came over with knowing I was going to screw up lol
All in all the install was straightforward but the 3 bolts on my 3rd cat was a pain to unscrew and to make it worse was that I ran out of WD40. My neighbor suggested grabbing my PAM cooking spray... worked like a champ! Rust fell off and the bolts came soon after. Your pics of the rubber pieces came in handy! I turned her back on at 4:30am... it was priceless, loved the tone and loved the low end rumble!
Trying to stay awake at work now wishing it was 5 to drive my baby once more

I'm pretty bad without the exhaust now, so I can just imagine when i'm ready to get it. Does he normally do a project twice a year or once? I'm probably not going to be ready until the end of the year for something like this.

no idea how that works, sorry. Just got lucky and snuck into his last batch

Just installed my system today. Its built top notch. Kudos on this beautiful product Mike.
It is a bit to raspy for me though. It sounds sexy on the open road in higher RPM's but loud, raspy, and "ricey" in lower RPM's. Mike, what would be the cost of getting a resonated mid pipe from you guys? I will also send you and email but I figured I would post it on here so I could get a response from you quick since I def need to tone down the raspy-ness.

Steven,
Got your PM. I asked what setup you had, but see now that you have pre-cat deletes. Wish I knew that as I'd definitely recommend a resonator. Probably a different one that we usually supply, but PM or give me a call and I can consult with you to make sure you get a proper resonator mounted.
