Fujita seeking TL-Type S for prototype
I emailed (contacted) Fujita (info@f5air.com). My question to them: "I recently purchased a 2007 Acura TL Type-S (3.5L) and am having a hard time locating any intake (systems/kits) for this vehicle, most likely because it is fairly new. Do you know how soon Fujita will be releasing a kit for this vehicle?"
Their response: "We are currently looking for a 07 TL to develop the intake on. If you are local to So. Cal we could use your car for prototyping and you will receive a free intake once the intake is completed."
Unfortunately, I'm in Albuquerque, and So Cal is a little far away to participate. Anyone in So Cal willing to let Fujita test on their car? Drop them an email to see if something can be arranged.
I also emailed Injen and Weapon-R. They have products that are currently being tested, and told me to be patient, and keep checking back.

^^^ After all of the threads asking about TL-S parts, haven't you figured out that the TL-S guys think they're special and therefore need special parts? They can't use parts for a regular TL...how could you even suggest that?
I bet the companies come out with parts for the TL-S and charge $20+ more for them...then somebody does a simple side-by-side and shows that they're the same...that would be awesome.

-_-; the companies still need to test fit the intake (unless they decide to make a new design for the '07) . I believe it is mainly to protect them from those sue happy consumers. For my '06 they(K&N) still needed to test fit the kit they made in '04 to make sure everything fits well. Think about it guys it is a liability issue. And who honestly cares? For the person who wants a FREE CAI from Injen, sacrifice your car for a few days and there ya go..save yourself $200 (or however much it costs)
