One on the right for me
^ - Mine are god awful. The hose popped off the caliper when I was flushing the brake fluid and the coating came off. Looks, well, not good.
RB replacement rings and OEM pads came today. Yay.

Currently running Stoptech pads with Stoptech XDrilled and Slotted rotors from Rock Auto. For the price I paid I'm happy. The dusting is minimal with Stop Tech pads compared to the Brembos.
I can't comment on Longevity as I've only had them for about 6500 miles but so far still plenty of pad left.
As for stopping one day it feels great the other day not so much, after washing the car they don't feel too great, but once warmed up they are great.
Next time around I would most likely get Hawk Pads instead.

I read a lot of back and forth on Brembo's, Hawks, Stoptech's etc...and it's starting to confuse me.
I'm not a track guy or stop light racer so alot of the comments are beyond my needs. I do on occasion step on it just for the thrill of speed. My city/hwy driving is about 50/50, so I want to hear your recommendations for a driver like me. Need rotors and brakes all around, don't want just OEM cause they're ridiculously expensive here in Canada, and my rear rotors have warped on stocks. So what do the pros/experts/experienced recommend for a daily commuter like me and from whom? Keep in mind that I need to ship them North of the border if I'm ordering from the US. If there are any Canadian folk that have any suggestions or experience dealing with a parts suppliers local or from the US please let me know. Much appreciated!

Upgraded rotors and pads and possibly SS brake lines should be sufficient for you. Personally and professionally we use STOPTECH brakes. I think our brake package is a good suit for what you're asking.

I've seen your site and am considering your package, but the shipping puts the package out of my budget. I might just suck it up and fork it over if I cant find anything else. Thanks for the tip.

Shipping to Canada can be calculated by adding the parts you want to shopping cart, then proceeding to checkout, and clicking on "Create an Account". Once there, select your country, Canada, and make sure to type in your postal code. If you do not put in your postal code you will only get a quote via UPS Expedited, but if you add your postal code you will get a quote also for UPS Standard (a Ground service). The customer/receiver will be responsible for any duties or taxes charged by UPS or Canada.

I recently replaced my front rotors with stoptech slotted rotors. I put ceramic pads on front and rear. Might be less dust and the initial braking performance is enough to engage the ABS, so no problems with street driving.
I need to get out on the local track to see if they can get through a session on the track without overheating. My stock rotors were warped when I bought the car.

FWIW I've had pretty good results over the past 6 weeks with the Stoptech 309.10010 front pads for Brembo replacements. Significantly less dust, nice and quiet and stopping power is adequate for my DD use.
The only suck part was my OEM front rotors were just out of spec so they couldn't be turned. Had to get some local auto shop replacements. The rotors have some surface rusting on the hubs and perimeter (non-braking surface). Taking them back to the shop so they can be sealed or treated to keep them looking decent.
Nevertheless, a thumbs up for the Stoptech street pads.

Sub'd. I don't need them yet but with 62k miles and just purchased 07-S I know it's inevitable and I want to be ready with best replacements.
I will probably replace calipers too because the finish is terribly worn and scratched up from previous owner.
I see the stoptech Aurazine kit from XLR8 kit are pretty affordable for rotors and pads but don't come with the calipers. I've got some time to shop but will tune into this thread regularly.
Thanks
