Hello all,

New to the forums here, I have looked over the forums for sometime just finally got the chance to sigh up.

I have recently purchased a 2008 Type S and wanted to do some engine work to it. I have heard that superchargers would be a better choice over a turbo etc etc. I'm sort of new to the car scene so I need to get my feet wet more or less.

so far neither supercharger nor turbo are available for the type-S. Try cold air intake, exhaust, pulley etc...

the supercharger is AVAILABLE... but no one has tried to install and tune... so if you go that route you will be the first... is it possible yes, will it give you any power... most definitely, will you run into some problems... yes if you do not have an experienced tuner...

Alright I will check those out. If I did go the supercharger route who makes it? I do know of several tuners in my area that could do it well so thats not an issue. Thanks for the advice I'll hopefully get a picture of my car up sooner or later. I'm loving every minute of it.

However there is one problem with the sound system that I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed.. maybe it's just something wrong with mine, but the problem is when there is any type of low bass note playing I will hear this rattle from the speaker. The weird thing is though this only happens in the morning and in the evening NOT during the day... which leaves me very puzzled. I took it into my local dealer, but obviously they went over it during the day and found no problems. Anyone have an idea what might be wrong with it?
