hit up fastbrakes before you order, I believe the rear fits, but I can't confirm it, the front you already know fits

Are Wilwoods better than Rotora's? Brembo's? Just curious. I've heard of them but no nothing about their quality.

I know these BBK's are good for up to 05 TL's, what about 08's?

I have the 5AT (non type S) and am looking to upgrade the fronts to a BBK.

I checked with one of the guys at fastbrakes about the F/R Accord package on a 06 5AT. Said the fronts wouldn't clear. Not gonna bother....

Just like Brembos, it's all about the particular model you're getting. Wilwood is very well respected in the domestic world, especially the faster (200+mph) drag racers. IMO, they keep most of their stuff high end while Brembo makes some awesome brakes as well as stock replacement junk. Well not junk, but you know what I mean. I would buy them with as much confidence as if they said Brembo on them.

tigga, why are u looking at the accord kit? there are 4 different kit applications specifically for the tl. i think excelerate already said that the rear kit (rotors and pads and does not come with rear calipers) for the accord won't fit on a tl.

I sent them an email and this was their reply:

"The front kits won't fit the stock wheels, the calipers will hit the back of
the wheel spokes."

Not sure if he knows what he's talking about, but im not the subject matter expert either...

I know there are other TL applications but i believe they are front only. This inquiry was purely on price. At first i thought both fronts and rears come with calipers, but i guess that isn't the case. A grand for a front and rear package (with calipers) is a pretty good deal IMO...

Anyways, after thinking this thru a few times, BBK is just overkill for my needs.... I'm leaning towards F/R Rotoras drilled/slotted with H2 pads from Excelerate. just a matter of time.

I've got 71K miles on my stock rotors and they still provide decent braking power, but i can tell they are on their way out.

I've had THE BEST LUCK with this car! Bought it brand new and after 71K miles, the ONLY things I've replaced is stock tires at 50K, oil and gas! Knock on wood, lets hope that luck continues!

whatever you decide you need, if you are going to buy in october take a look at http://www.wilwoodoutlet.com for 10% off and free shipping. their original price is no different than everyone else's though.
