Fixing Useless HFPC
So long story short I have a set of E Shift High Flow Cats that are useless because the cells are loose which causes a code to be thrown. Can I go an cut the flanges off and weld them onto a different pair of High Flow Cats that are around the same dimension?
I'm surprised that you have E-Shift cats! Most of them were sold when they first came out and many of them were blown out in pieces by the S/C guys. The ended up just being catless and called it a day!
You could take off the flanges and put on another cat, but in all honesty why even waste the money? Get some pre-cat deletes and sell off the e-shift one. Keep your 3rd one if you want to reduce some of the scent.
