ya its unfortunate
they installed the wrong ring gear, so my starter makes a noise everytime i crank it. ive sent them countless pictures and there is no dispute that the mistake is theres. they are going to get me the right parts and reinburst me for the labor to replace it again.

what wear characteristics does the stage 3 have? what stage is your friends clutch? i might buy it...i was wanting stage 2 for wear and drivability but if theres not much difference i can compromise...btw i will be supercharged with this clutch

Installed!
I was very skeptical at first because shifts were difficult - especially gears 1,2,3, R. It almost felt like the clutch wasn't fully disengaging. Not only that but just getting my car into reverse took two hands! I have already put 145 miles and shifting has vastly improved. Its not the seamless knife in butter shifting it used to be but its getting every mile i go. Pedal feel was also very hard in the beginning, but then again i drove the first hundred miles barefoot lol.
But now pedal feel is just like stock. I did adjust the clutch pedal so the engagement isn't so far down so I'm 're-learning' to drive stick haha. I'll do another review after I break about 500 miles but so far I'm really happy with it. I can't comment on how hard the clutch grabs bc I haven't put any real power to it yet - I want to get past the break in period. I am running the stock pulley and CM's lightened flywheel and man the revs want to fly! HUGE difference over stock clutch. I have to be let out the clutch more and go easy on the throttle for proper shifts.

im around 86k. I'll take pix of my stock clutch & PP - It definitely had wear marks and hotspots on it.
I did some other things while in there so install wasnt too bad

^no noise at all...if you bought yours around or after i did you shouldn't have a problem. i wrote a short review in the other clutch thread. so far driveability has been pretty close to stock.
