Exhaust for TL type S

Guys i need a little help / advice. First off i am a muscle car guy but I purchased a TL-S for daily driver. I want to add exhaust of the car but i love the stock quad exhaust tips. I can't seem to find any listings for a cat back system for my car on the net.

Can someone point me in the right direction. I would really like to keep the factory tips if possible. If not something very close.

What do you guys recommend? Brands? anything could help

This is the issue. We are waiting on development. Do a search, but in this forum, just a couple down, there is one under development by Greddy. With that being said, especially since you want your stock tips, the best thing for you to do is go pick up some new muffler cans at a local muffler shop and have them weld your stock tips onto those and put it all together. Not a big deal, and way cheaper than a catback system.

To be honest, I was initially thinking of this, but then again, every TL-S has the same exhaust tips, so I'd like to differentiate.

I already stopped by a local muffler shop. He told me that the dual outlets on the muffler seem to be closer together than most aftermartket mufflers. In other words the tips would not line up correctly when put on the car. The openning in the rear bumper is only so wide. So the tips would have to be almost in the same exact spot.

You may just be able to put some test pipes or high flow cats in to increase your sound if that is all you want.

you can remove parts out of the stock exhaust
Stage 1: Remove midmuffler
Stage 2: Step 1 and replace stock resonator with Magnaflow
Stage 3: Step 1 and replace stock resonator with smaller resonator
Stage 4: Remove midmuffler and resonator..there is a huge thread about it on hear with vids...
i have stage 1 sounds great

I just removed both the resinators on mine, and just stainless pipe welded in. it made it louder and rasper at WOT but it is still quiet as an acura at idle. it has a bit of a "honda" sound to it but i like it. cost $100 at a local mufler shop. the most important news is NO performance differance (good or bad).

STILL LOOKS COMPETELY STOCK

I am a brand newbie to this forum, and this was my very question as I ran over to all the shops I usually was able to get parts for my 2000 Civic Si, but for the TL TYPE S, they have nothing... It's a little sad since the 08 is already out and still no aftermarket parts have hit the market yet...

I have repeatedly looked for exhaust (even a CAI) and nothing is listed for the 07 TL type S. Most companies are telling me the products for the previous year have not yet been tested on the 07 models so they can't guarantee a fit.

I really like my quad tips but being they come right out of the muffler i doubt i will be able to match the look and spacing with an aftermarket muffler.
