Exhaust question...this one is different...I think

Hello everyone,

I've searched different combinations of words and phrases but havn't really gotten a satisfactory answer to my question. I apologize if this has been covered here before.

I at some point would like to get the ATLP resonated cat-back once the version for the base model comes out. I'm also interested in RV6 J-Pipe and resonated test pipe.

That should open up most of the exhaust system with the exception of deleting the pre-cats. I'd really like to avoid deleting ALL of my cats, but will not removing them pretty much negate any effect on all the other exhaust parts and be a waste of time and money? Are there high-flow pre-cats?

Thanks in advance for all of your help!

So much for just tints and lowering...lol

I can't edit my post unfortunatly due to the 5 minute rule, but I forgot to add one question. I'd like a good ammount of low end power. There are laws telling you how fast you can go, but not how fast you can get there, so alot of high end doesn't agree with me and my too many speeding tickets....lol

So back to my question, but will this give me good low end, or will it shift the powerband up to the higher end? Or am I talking out of my ass? I'm still new at this...thanks guys!

well the precat deletes sound horrible with a stock exhaust

i'd think you would retain low end torque by opting for jpipe/3rd cat delte/catback

or you could buy the precat deletes and fabricate your own hiflow precats using 2 magnaflow metal spun cats

Thanks for your help. I don't plan on staying with the stock exhaust. I'm putting in the dynomax for now until I get up money for the ATLP cat-back and until it comes out for the base model.

So I'm just going with the j pipe - RV6 test pipe - ATLP cat back

Anyone on Long Island have this set up and want to meet up with me so I can hear it?
