Alright before you all roast me for not searching I tried but have a special case. I've got an 07 Type-S with RV6 precats, jpipe and test pipe. I have a custom resonator after that and a custom mid muffler (I installed this to quiet down the precats) from here it has stock piping and type-s mufflers. I am thinking of replacing the resonator and mid muffler but do not want it to loud. Any suggestions?

So how would this be different from what so many others have done? What you're saying is that you want to swap one aftermarket res and mid muffler for another one?

it really is a trial and error kind of thing.
put a pair of mufflers on. if you dont like the sound, find another pair.

expensive trial and error. do as much research as you can before you decide what you want from your exhaust. i know i will be happy sooon!!!!!

my current exhaust setup actually has a really good note to it, i get complimented on it all the time, i will have to get some vids of it before i do the big swap!!

my current setup is RV6 PCD and JPIPE, mid muffler delete and added a 12" magnaflow resonator, sounds like a beefier G35 with a slight bit of rasp on decel that actually sounds nice.

why not take that suggestion?

Do you know why we have to resort to asking people to search and to research?
its because no one is taking risk and experimenting, any more.

we have the information that we have because of the early pioneers.
Props to them for not being scared and actually being innovative and trying new things.
