Hey to all acura lovers. I have an 05 TL, bought it brand new, and was wondering if the type S rear bumper and exhaust will fit my year?? in my opinion i think it will be possible. what say you guys?

 

yes it will, i have an 05 as well and i put the type-s rear a-spec spoiler on my stock 05 bumper and it worked. allthough if you put the type-s exhaust in you will have to cut your stock bumper to hell to fit it...here is my progress thread i have pic's of the type-s bumper on but my quad exhaust still isnt on

i like what you are doing with your car but my question was would i be able to fit the Tl type S BUMPER on the 05 tl and would the mufflers fit?

 

Yes. Take old bumper off, put new bumper on. Since it is a Type-s bumper, the type-s mufflers will obviously fit.

 

k thanks just wanted to know if it was a perfect fit. On the muffler tho, is it a direct bolt on or would i have to make any changes?

 

its a direct fit,,you dont have to change a thing

Yup i put a type s bumper on my 04 tl (fit perfect) then sold it and went with a type s aspec lip on my stock bumper. good luck.

Cheapest way to do this is to get a Type S rear lip, cut up your 05 bumper to get it to fit and then purchase a type S exhaust and bolt it on.

I just did this. There is a DIY that shows you how to cut up your bumper to get the Type S rear lip to fit.
