It's a 6-cylinder engine. Don't expect it to sound like a "real" engine. Borla and Magnaflow make som excellent systems, but let's face it. You just ain't gonna get serious sound out of a 6-banger.
I'd PM tmntmn about his system. I heard it at the last bay area meet, sounded pretty good. louder than i would want but thats not being negative...just different goals with the car.

The E-Shift Pro cats just replace your stock cats. There is no modification required so if you need someone to fabricate an exhaust it will be the same as if you had the stock cats.
The only thing about going to a muffler shop is many of them don't do mandrel bends. They do crush bent bends so although you may start out with a 2.5" pipe, at the bend it reduces to maybe 2.3" pipe or something like that. Mandrel bends, which is how aftermarket exhausts like Comptech's, are 2.5" all the way throughout. So you will lose some flow with crush bent piping which is what most of those mufflers shops will use. They also will not likely use stainless steel since it requires a different welder and different material. And then you still have to consider the cost of mufflers.

You can use a mig welder on SS pipe, it just will be more prone to rust in the areas where you welded. Good shops will have both a mig and a tig welder to deal with those types of issues.
Also, I really doubt you will lose much if you use regular bends on a built system. Unless you are doing a bunch of "u" bends the difference is minimal.
