you are either going to have to hack up a system for an accord or 2nd gen TL or just get some mufflers and have a shop put one together for you

Non type specific probably. Get it custom if you want to make it louder.......or just get straight pipes

A customized Borla exhaust system should do the trick. Don't they advertise about getting erections from their exhausts? Now that's manly.

It's a 6-cylinder engine. Don't expect it to sound like a "real" engine. Borla and Magnaflow make som excellent systems, but let's face it. You just ain't gonna get serious sound out of a 6-banger.

I don't think any companies will produce any aftermarket exhaust systems until the second and third generation owners are driving the TL.

Until then...just get creative and customize.

I agree and Greddy is a bunch of pussies that won't produce an exhaust. It's sad that people don't want to make more money. A Greddy exhaust would fly off the shelves.

I agree with building your own exhaust. You get to choose the tone and amplitude based on the parts you buy without paying the mark up of a "pre-built" exhaust. I'm having mine done this weekend for a total of $320 for parts and installation. This includes all new SS pipe from the resonator back. Its a no-brainer.

The E-Shift Pro cats just replace your stock cats. There is no modification required so if you need someone to fabricate an exhaust it will be the same as if you had the stock cats.

The only thing about going to a muffler shop is many of them don't do mandrel bends. They do crush bent bends so although you may start out with a 2.5" pipe, at the bend it reduces to maybe 2.3" pipe or something like that. Mandrel bends, which is how aftermarket exhausts like Comptech's, are 2.5" all the way throughout. So you will lose some flow with crush bent piping which is what most of those mufflers shops will use. They also will not likely use stainless steel since it requires a different welder and different material. And then you still have to consider the cost of mufflers.

Ditto, I'd be all over it. It's sad how they produced an exhaust for the Subaru Gt's, yet they couldn't find a market for it with our TL

You can use a mig welder on SS pipe, it just will be more prone to rust in the areas where you welded. Good shops will have both a mig and a tig welder to deal with those types of issues.

Also, I really doubt you will lose much if you use regular bends on a built system. Unless you are doing a bunch of "u" bends the difference is minimal.
