Excelerate Performance: XLR8 J-Pipe Groupbuy!!!
This is a Groupbuy for the Acurazine community for the XLR8 J-pipe, which is 100% stainless steel, utilizing T304 stainless steel. The primaries are equal length 2.25" piping which transition into a 2.5" collector with stainless steel flanges and hangers.
Here are the dyno #'s:
This is dyno graph a few months before showing the difference on the vehicle with the XLR8 catback exhaust for the TL-S:
This is the dyno graph showing the gains of the j-pipe. Dyno conditions were similar; in fact there was more humidity and a higher temp on this day so it might even make more power:
For this Groupbuy the XLR8 J-pipe will be reduced to $360 plus shipping. Use promo code JPIPEGB upon checkout. As soon as you place your order start a list and put your screen name and then mark PAID. I'd like to get at least 10 purchasers. We will need ppl to start purchasing right away. We should have these available to ship in 2-3 weeks.

I've been thinking about a jpipe...if I read that correctly, I can expect about a 17 hp gain here? Also, I know it's your competition but the V3 Richie one supposedly sets the bar. If gains are the same with yours, at about 80 bucks less, I'd seriously consider it. Clearance looks like it's fine too and this also eliminates the 3rd cat?

rv6 eliminates the 3rd cat, and has charts showing gains with just a Jpipe at about 12-17 hp .... for 80 bucks more, the newest edidtion is something to consider, however this jpipe offer is pretty dam stellar and has me reaching for the wallet lol.... tough choice.

Our j-pipe has the following features:
1. Equal length runners with high flow merge
2. US grade T304 Stainless Steel with a 2 year warranty
3. Significant low end torque increase and double digit hp and tq gains through most of the RPM band
4. Emissions legal because it does not remove any catalytic converters
5. Proper clearance for most vehicles dropped less than 2"
We do offer a third cat delete which is sold separately and also a high flow third cat:

-also do you have a dyno sheet to show the gains with just the jpipe on a stock exhaust, and not the above with an aftermarket exhaust?

So your telling me by the statement above that all those numbers are from the Jpipe, and the exhaust that people have bought "as shown with the chart above" gives 0 power?
-that chart you provided is with jpipe and exhaust, I dont want to and I am sure others wont want to spend 350 bucks on an "assumption" that the Jpipe alone will give those numbers, yet the chart you have provided clearly shows numbers with an exhaust as well....
Re-read your statement and PM me please, I am not sure your understanding what I am asking...again I am ready to purchase your pipe or the competitors as you know who I am talking about.. please help.

The exhaust is a system. Each part does it's job. However, you cannot say "If a Jpipe gives 'X' gains and an exhaust gives 'Y,' if I get both I'll have 'X + Y!!!'" It doesn't work that way.
With that said, there are substantial gains in the mid-low RPM range with the Jpipe alone. Once you add exhaust, you will see more gains in the upper RPM band than the low-midrange. What you also have to realize about these dynos is that power is made THROUGHOUT THE RPM RANGE. This is very important and EASILY felt on the butt dyno.
You cannot go wrong with any Jpipe....seriously. The XLR8 piece is very well built and provides great gains. The primaries are slightly shorter than the RV6 V3, but the merge on the XRL8 is better. The difference in gains between the 2 are minimal at best.
I look at the XRL8 merge and get goosebumps. Whether you send your $$ to XRL8 or RV6 (seems to be the 2 you are choosing between), you will be happy.

Yeah the Jpipe on this post is amazing, I am just trying to get a feel of gains for just jpipe added.. no sweat I get what your saying and understood that before ... Ill go over each products fact sheets/dynos and make a decision.

Gains with JUST this Jpipe if I had to guess would be around 10whp/12wtq. That would be my guess for a 6MT. For the 5AT probably 8/10. I'm no dyno though.

OMG! Thing J-Pipe is sexy lol.
I can tell the difference from RV-6 and the ATLP. I am definetly 300% buying this thingy! I am also going to get the Test Pipe and the AEM V2 CAI, hopefully I will get 15HP to the wheels.
Excelerate, here I come!

Hey Josh...
Met a guy at a gas station that also drives a TL. He really liked my XLR8 setup (j-pipe, 3rd cat, quad exhaust)... I want to send him your way.
Figured j-pipe is a good start, this deal still available?
