Engine ticking around the intake manifold?

Ive had a strange ticking noise that seems to be coming from the intake manifold. I suspected maybe it was a worn AC pulley causing vibration to that area, because i also hear a "whoop whoop whoop" sound which sounds like a worn bearing. i cannot point out exactly where the worn bearing sound is though. Has anyone had this problem and knows what the solution is? i have no CEL and my car feels and runs great. i also have a video if anyone could help me with how to post it. thanks!!

probably is minor valve chatter that's normally associated with many Honda engines and signals nothing bad or that you need to worry about.

Recommended valve adjustment is at 105k but most Acura shops won't even bother unless it's really bad (meaning the clearances are significantly off).

I had a sound like that as well. However, it was right after I had gotten my oil changed before a road trip I went on with my GF. They used synthetic, but I'm not sure what blend or weight. This happened only after the oil change btw. And it happened twice while on my road trip, and once since I've been home. Only on cold starts, but never every cold start....weird. Here is a vid. Sorry to thread jack OP, but it's a similar issue and includes a vid. My car has just over 102K by the way.

Oh, also...OP...there was a TSB for 05-07 Accords and other Honda/Acura vehicles as well. I forget the number. But it deals with the noise you are referring to. Apparently it's the idler pulley. My noise is very different, sorry.

funny you mentioned oil. i put 5w30 in instead of 5w20 and didnt think twice about it, but the noise has occurred since the oil change. my guess is a pulley too..
