So i had a Antifreeze leak for around 2 years now (after my motor swap) and i finally decided to fix it since it was my only problem before the s/c install..
I was missing the front head to water passage gasket and the bottom rear bolt under the EGR was loose( needed retapping)
Took off the IM/TB

Looked at all the bolts for the runners so i can have an easy day swapping those out with these

Also looked at all the injectors and wiring making sure i know what i'm doing for my injector swap.
Disconnected battery and all sensors around the passage (where the EGR sits and the big hoses go)

Its only 2 bolts and 4 nuts that hold the passage ( not including the connecting pipe thats held in by o-rings)
This is also where the thermostat is...
When i opened it, i was surprised with the amount of crude built up inside the egr passage.. i had to scrape it off and clean it with brake cleaner...

only tools needed was a pair of pliers to remove the hose clamps and a 10mm and 12mm ratchet with short extension..

no. Those two gaskets are good. might need an EGR as its soft and prone to split in half due to temps... coolant hoses do come off so you'll need a bottle of antifreeze and to bleed it out after wards

fill res. to max line, fill radiator, Start car and hold at 2500 rpms(heat on hi) until the fans kick on, let idle for a few seconds, turn car off, refill radiator, put radiator cap back on, drive around for a bit, let cool down and check if you need more fluid in the res
