i think the owner's manual says break-in is 600 miles

By the way, do you have an auto/manual? And what about the G35? Keep in mind the G sedans have 22 more hp and RWD, easier to launch

I ran my ex girlfriend's TL leaving the dealership with 8 miles on the odo. The race was pretty much even as you would expect. After a thousand or so miles this turned into a sold car and a half by 80mph. Don't know why my 06 was consistantly faster than her 05 with both being autos. It will get a little faster but don't expect that much.

2004 vs 2006 are the same hp and everything. Your ex girlfriend just doesn't step on the gas as much as you would.

Yes, it does get faster. But not markedly, so don't expect too much.

And about losing to a G35 sedan. Yep. It is torquier, and it is RWD, which gives it an advantage from a stop due to weight transfer.

The TL is a nice sedan, but a sports car it is not.

You'll really hate the 2007 Toyota Camry!! The Se and LE have 3.5, 268 hp, 248 tq, V6 engines.

No, mine is faster. We've switched cars with the same result.

where do you live? I'd go 25% b/c if you're gonna get a ticket, you might as well get it for having 25% (IMO it looks better during the day. However at night, you'll have trouble seeing out the windows). Btw, where do you live?

And as for performance upgrades. Go w/ the CAI and UR Pulley. Those shouldn't go too deep into the wallet.
