ok, without diy info i can tell you it is semi-medium labor intensive job, remove front radiator fan, unbolt the front cat as directed, for the rear you have to remove the heat shields and possibly drop the sub frame, i dont know?. with the right tools and a pneumatic gun your job should be easy, i could be wrong, tackle it yourself.. a 2hr job.... good luck and enjoy RV6 PCD.

Thanks for the response... I got it done tonight, with no pneumatic tools, and no DIY.. It took me 5 hours with a buddy assisting, and a case of beer later... I am far from a mechanic and probably took off more than I needed, but this was a pain in the ass! End result, Very noticeable difference in power, with a hell of a lot of rasp! I knew this was a possibility prior to installing, and I'm ordering a magnaflow resonator. No cells thrown, and the gains are definitely a fair trade for the rasp!!

Do you have stock j-pipe, stock 3rd cat, stock resonator, mid mufflers?

Pretty much I'm asking what other exhaust mods do you have?

Sorry, I don't have everything in my sig yet. Yes, I have ATLP catback non resonated, RV6 v3 J-pipe, and AEM intake. So I am catless now.

I see! That very well explains the rasp. I'm planning on getting PCD's installed, and i have a completely stock exhaust system besides my rv6 v3 jpipe.

I'm curious as to how raspy it would sound in person with stock resonator, mid muffler, and everything back.

I can't help you there. Prior to installing the PCD's with the catback, and J-pipe I had some rasp, but now if I'm over 3k RPM, it sounds like shit... I know some people say they don't mind it, but I am in search of a resonator now. Power wise, this is the best mod I have done yet!

Curious, are you base model or type-s? MT or AT?

Never mind, saw your other thread. Type-S 5AT
