I was having my Jpipe installed by a mech today and I was there with him.
The car was on a lift and I asked if we could do the damper too.
We looked at it and weren't totally able to figure out how to put in the new damper.
The stock damper was easy to remove, took like 1 min with his power tools.
I'm not totally clear how this thing goes on, I have an idea, but not exactly.
The bolt at the bottom, I'm guessing the nut has to get removed and then that bolt goes into hole #3. Correct?
Holes #1 and 2 are WAY farther up next to the 2 hoses right?
And one of those holes are currently occupied by another bolt holding wiring right?
I'd like to get this part installed, so let me know if I'm wrong on anything.

Did u get a chance and look at my gb thread over at v 6 p? It has a picture of on installed on a motor that's sitting in the k frame outside of the car. That's the beat picture to show exactly where it mounts. Just search my nameof (04accordcpe), profile, and show threads started by me. 6spd to have to completely remove the the stock brackets holding the stock gas filled damper. Auto tl's this kit is complete PnP without anything additional needed. 3 bolts and your good to go

The bottom bolt sits on the motor mount, not the same location as the stock damper...

Is the other hold below it, towards the front, towards the back?
There is so much crap in the way, how long of an extension did you use to remove that motor mount bolt?
I took out the stock damper from underneath, how did you manage to take it out from the top?

Quick question... Does anyone know if you can buy replacement internals for these dampners? I actually have an old J's Racing one that I had on my 00 SI that unfortunately came apart while driving somehow and I lost the internals. The thing cost a fortune back then so I never got rid of it but now that I could reuse it I would like to get it on my TLS if I can replace the innards and get the correct brackets made or purchase them separate from the new dampner.

Time to revive it, I'll need a source for this as well. This damper looks significantly more useful than the one I've known in the past that works off of the strut tower. If there are any kits around or anyone knows where to source one, it would be greatly appreciated. Else, if anyone has a damper that I could get a schematic/drawing of i'd be willing to see about getting a new batch of plates machined.

no dice on the J-series bracket! I contacted NRG to see if they could help and no response yet.
