Did a DYno Satuday.
Did a DYno saturday and the TL did alright. Its pretty f'ed up that i forgot the camera but will be taking pics later.
So far, with the Super flow RAM intake (Weapon-R), light racing wheels exhuast/mufflers, i got 228.76 WHP and like around 212. something to the wheels. I just wanna know, is that good for the mods i have? Should i get the pulley next (stock size)? and im thinking about getting the Supercharger. What other parts i need to support it?

Actually if he does the supercharger his base will make more power than most Type-S.

I made 280 whp & 246 wtq on a MUSTANG DYNO
thats over 300 whp on a DYNO JET
You should see at least 275 whp....But i was like you before i dyno...I didn't think i was gonna break 250 whp on a MUSTANG DYNO...then the 1st pull was 272 WHP... then 276 ....then the 3rd 280whp.
GOOD LUCK...
P.S.
POST the VIDEO of it in the "POST UR DYNO VIDEO HERE" thread in the 3rd GEN photography Gallery.

You honestly think a stock 6 speed Type-S will beat a supercharged 5AT base? If it does win it wouldn't be by much. Lets see 256 + 45+ 300 crank horsepower to the type-s 286 I know you lose less power through a manual but lets be real...

Well My buddy have the same mods as you, except he has the Greddy EVO2 Exhaust.....
He pulled 263 whp & 230 wtq on a MUSTANG DYNO...
Check out the VIDEO in the 3rd GEN Photography Gallery on page 2 or 3 in the "POST UR DYNO VIDEOs HERE" thread.

Launch advantage no longer goes to the manual once the auto is supercharged. In fact the auto will be easier to launch and more consistent. Same thing with the powerband, the blower will fatten up the powerband.

I would think it should be higher, no?
I just had mine done last week, forgot to bring the camera, will do after my 1st & 2nd mod though (getting CAI hopefully this week and thinking exhaust next)
It's a 2006 TL 6MT (no mods)
222 uncorrected
213 SAE
Did also had it run with the stock intake opened up towards the fan,
245 uncorrected
235 SAE
Even though I won't get that much from from the AEM V2, but hopefully it'll get me into 220's.
It was done in 4th gear... Next time I'll have them done in 3rd as well as I believe it's better.
Does that seem right?

you can NOT compare dyno numbers from person to person, especially from state to state....there is WAY too many variables

screw the dyno. take it to an open track night. hp #'s are only something I glance as I look for the 0-60 time. Maybe just me, but I mod to keep me excited when I press the pedal and hopefully give the d-bag in the $60K car in the other lane a run for his money.
It just seems lately that everytime somebody posts a dyno you get 3 standard responses: Every dyno is different; Every run is different; You need at least 5 before and after dyno's before it's considered accurate.

I'll be going to a track in Gainesville, FL, soon. My buddy wants to run his sleeper E55 AMG. I was hoping to have an exhaust first (ATLP Base), but, that won't happen. Gonna change out the tranny fluid, flush radiator and get new plugs before I go.

have to do stock size for the S/C.
are you installing yourself? I ask because it's a $6-7K investment brand new. Used, maybe half but you have to worry about getting all the necessary hardware

haha i dont know what going on around here but i have a 2005 tl 5sp auto with comptech supercharger, tanabe catback exhaust system, power chipped ecu with boost option and removed speed limiter, and with a port and polished head with custom oversize titanium valve and dual valve springs and ported intake manifold. i was make 358 whp with 296 ft lb of torque. i raced my friend stock type s 6sp manual and spank him like a girl.

same here i would love to see that car......
u guys think its worth waiting for the turbo kit to be tested or should i get the supercharger...my old car was and 98 accord 4dr with a h22 turbo and i loved it..i ve
never driven a supercharged car before...is it a big difference when the power kicks
in???? i had full boost like at 44k rpms in my accord and i was running 14lbs ..when does the boost kick in a supercharged tl

you have almost identical mods as me and you're making similar power, except you're at AT. more info please!

I won't jump the gun and say he's not making what he's advertising but, his lack of research about 'chips' means: 1. He swallowed the hook on one of the eBay specials, or, 2. He bought it this way and assumed this part made it faster.

You're right on the money since stock is around 222. The extra ~7 or so is likely from your exhaust. Is your intake a short ram? If so, it's probably not doing much. With a CAI, pulley, J pipe and race pipe you should hit upper 240's.
