should be the same size. i got my HBP right before they supposedly closed their doors and they never said anything about a different belt. i think our we have automatic tensioners.

pardon my french... but...
FCKING SWEET !!!!!!! it has to be HBP (6.4psi)
catback, jpipe.... over 300whp on a 5AT.

The shop had a gauge so they measured the boost right there when the car was on the rollers
Doesn't seem like this guy even has the HBP on the car yet
Probable explanation for his high boost with the regular pulley is that his intake and exhaust are fairly clogged up in comparison to mine, for example, I have the CT exhaust, custom j-pipe, custom intake, all the thing that should open up the flow and lower the boost.
Still with the stock pulley I was boosting 4psi, with the HBP twice as much!

that makes sense. my other buddy that was second to SC his 7th gen accord showed he was boosting about 1psi more than me, but he doesnt have the pro-cats and full catback, but he is auto, while im 6spd.
actros are you 6mt or 5at? maybe that can be it
you guys also have to remember, shawn at church automotive uses a dynopack, dynometer, which will give you higher numbers than any other dyno. on the top part of the dyno chart, it usually says flywheel torque and flywheel hp. they physically take your wheels off the car and connect the hubs straight to the machine, minusing the rotating mass of the wheels. so actually dynopacks show hp to the hubs and not true WHP. i believe it shows anywhere from 8-10% higher than a standard dynojet. nevertheless, those are still great #'s for a 5at.

Now that make more sense, i would expect the 3.2motor with HBP to make more then 300whp.
When I had the 3.2 with regular pulley, I only saw around 4.5psi of boost. I had the E-procat, 3rd cat delete, and stock catback at that time.

btw, with just the regular pulley and no catback and J-pipe, 294whp is very good!!!!
You will get over 300whp with the exhaust mod. Can't imagine what the HBP would do.
So with the reflash your redline is 7300rpm and your Vtec comes in at 3000rpm?

Yes i do have a custom cold air intake on mine. It's just a simple U-bend and a pipe down to the bumper opening.
As for the HBP, I think you can get away with the stock injectors. Do you happen to know the duty cycle of your current injectors with the regular pulley?
There are people running the HBP and is still running pig rich, so I believe the stock injector should flow enough fuel for the HBP.
Do you know which aftermarket injectors would fit the TL?

My car is 04 TL AT, dyno took place on a dynojet at ESP, it was hot as hell that day too. Icepack helped otherwise the ECU was severely retarding ignition.
Mrlunecy what was you air/fuel ration at the time of the dyno or whatever?
In my case the HBP stabilized the AFR, bringing it to a more "normal" 11.5 at WOT from the pig rich 10 and lower before the HBP install. So the HBP can do some good in that respect actually. Always check your AFR first, you might be running lean and the HBP would only make it worse.

ussi, i saw you said you only used the primary pro-cats. Any chance did you get inspection while they were on? I was just wondering how my NA car with 2 cats would do for emission. The company that makes the cats are they called Metal Cat?

You don't need more fuel except when running HBP at high rpms.

Have you had yours inspected in Cali???
One of the guys who lives in my neighborhood works for an emissions place, but still makes me nervous..
One last thing,,, WHY does it fail visual inspection? Is it just becuase it is not stock?
thanks
