Custom Exhaust Installed-PICS

So it is finally done. Let me tell you the sound is "orgasmic". Sounds like a tuned 350 Z. Took out the mid muffler, put straight pipe in its place. Kept in stock resonator. Custom mandrel bent pipes at the Y were made to fit the dual Volt Mufflers. I am so happy with the sound and look. Can someone help me post sound clips...I can do video if that is easier to hear it. Very low rumble between 2500 and 3000 rpms then it disapates and the AEM CAI is all you hear from in the cabin anyway. I stopped listening to cds in the car because it sounds great....

Here are the pics...

I think it would look better if you changed the tips to perhaps some large oval tips, like on the 350Z.

nice exhaust, not a fan of how those mufflers sit or how the tips are angled though

I had a muffler out with a 4.5 circle like the z and it did not look good in the openings. I went with the oval tip because it is not TOO different from the squarish tip that is stock.

Do you notice any performance gains?

The only thing is the tips that I'm not feeling, but props for being different....

I feel like there is a little more pull between 60mph and 80mph when I floor it in 5th gear. Granted I am sure I only gained about 3-4 hp...but linked with my CAI I am sure I gained a few useful ponies. I am gonna dyno it next month.

As for the tips, I did not want the big fart cans, and I did not want the dual curved up tips so I was trying to be as conservative as possible...

Props on the install but is my humble opion that the tips look just off at an angle and somewhat small for the opening....

Good job, but like everyone has said, the tips are too oval and small.

Thanks for all the responses. I am very happy with it, especially for just costing me $225 (parts at cost only)
