Custom Exhaust

Not sure if this has been covered or not, didn’t see much about this on the forums. Been researching a bit and looking at different video clips of what exhausts are available for our cars and I found I like the RV6’s exhaust tone the best; but conveniently enough the one I like is no longer made lol I saw a post on here that had some measurements of the pipes/tips used and was curious if anyone has tried to replicate it or found something similar. Don’t know much about how diameter, tips, etc. affect sound. Thanks in advance

your best bet is to go to a respected exhaust/muffler shop near you and get their advice, they will be able to guide you through a custom exhaust and it should be decent. too many factors to replicate exactly what another vendor did to match 100%. good luck!

I second going to an exhaust shop. they can advise you on the how's and why's.
I would avoid a "performance shop" unless you just have tons of money...as custom welding and pie cuts get expensive, VERY FAST.

and exhaust shop will mandrel bend the pipe and weld some pieces, but a performance shop will want to weld every piece

Okay, that sounds good. I know one that's local that did some simple previous work to my other TL. Thanks!

Yeah I figured any performance or specialty shop similar will charge an arm and a leg. I don't mind spending cash on this car to have stuff done right but I'm not trying to go broke either lol I appreciate the advice
