CT Short shifter

In the picture it has that stainless steel flat metal piece with it...anyways I bought mine off of ebay and it just came with the cnc machined attachment piece..before I end up ripping my dash apart I just want to make sure thats all im suppose to have?

i dont remember any flat metal piece in the package. what would it be used for?
i think all you need is the adapter, hex key and loctite if im not mistaken. btw its a sik ass mod i love it

Nice yeah I have looked at a few websites and it has the flat piece and really im not sure why its even there but thanks I appreciate it.

The flat metal piece has a notch in it. It is made to remove the plasic piece over the ball at the end of the shifter. It is not manditory, it is just a tool, to help out the install. If you need one, i haveone or 2 of them, i could send you one.

I never used mine. An adjustable wrench worked better for me.

I'll try the wrench...I talked to a few other guys and they all said the same thing that the wrench worked better. Thanks tldream
