Considering upgrading to the Type-S cams...

I wonder what kind of gains I'd see from upgrading the stock base model cams to those? As always, I'll list my current mods.

AEM Cold Air Intake
ATLP V2 J-Pipe
ATLP Hi-Flow Cat
XLR8 Base Duals Cat-Back
RV6 Hi-Flow PreCat x2
J37 Intake Manifold (not installed yet)
J37 Throttle Body (not installed yet)

They call them the hype-s cams.

I am a little shocked that cams are being thrown around as a mod when you don't have a tuning solution.

CAM upgrade = tuning required.

I was going to get the J&R ECU at some point. The cams is a long term goal honestly

Definitely not worth the money/work involved. Save up for tuning/bisi cams

For the money in parts you would spend for those cams, you could do a head swap w/cams from a 4g TL or 8g Accord and gain MUCH more. But as mentioned, you would still need a tuning solution before you could see the most from the mod.
