ONe issue we need a better clutch mine is slipping now on a hard launch so thisis a problem

 

Comptech told me that the 03 CL-S 6 Speed clutch should fit the 04+ TL. Again, last I checked they said it should fit although they had not fitted it themselves. According to what they knew they believed it would work. But by now they may have already checked if it would fit.

 

If you're referring to the Supercharger Kit it says it will fit both the A/T and M/T. And the it made 60whp for the A/T and 65 whp for the M/T.

 

According to there website they were claiming 35 to 40whp what gives

Hey guys I just need one more guy to make a deposit and this Groupbuy going.

 

1) New fuel pump is not needed for this kit and no modification to the stock pump is required.

2) The 2003 guys could see up to 100whp gains but we have headers and more boost. In stock trim without headers you'd get around 35-40whp.

 

The flywheel is the only difference in the '03 and '04-'06 transmission. The clutch is identical.

However, the Comptech clutch is NOT designed to hold any more power than the stock clutch. It will slip just as frequently as the stock clutch. The Comptech clutch is designed to work with the lightweight flywheel which will NOT fit in the '04-'06 TL transmission to the best of my knowledge.

In other words, don't waste your time on the clutch replacement.

 

And that already is a GREAT price. I know what the vendor costs were for the 2nd Gen kit and I'm assuming the 3rd Gen kit is more.

I recently shipped a supercharger and it did cost roughly ~$100 to ship with insurance.




Guys this is a great deal! A better deal than you'll find anywhere else for quite some time. Price won't drop by much because his profit margin is not that great.

 

Waiting to hear impressions about how it worked out on the one guys install. I might be in on it after that. I also have a side deal in the works so don't count me at 100% yet

Excellerate Im just waiting on some extra money that should come around in a few months. I let my mechanic know about it, so he is expecting me in a few. I have had only good experiences with dealing with excellerate in the past months. He is very legit and shipping is very fast. A+ vendor

 

That really depends on the place. I believe installation times runs about 10-12 hours. So I would guess $600-$750 for install.

 

Anyone in the NYC area going to be installing the S/C? I need to save up jsut a little bit more money and I need to find a good mechanic with a decent installation price here in NY, hopefully someone can help me.

 

Guys I just wanted to give you a heads up that I have removed the 50% deposit to get it on this GB. There now is only a $500 deposit. The deposit isn't even necessary though b/c the chargers are ready to ship ASAP. They are in stock and ready to ship to you.

 

I thought you said you were going to price match Acura of Escondido.....there is a difference there of $75.00 and he has free shipping as well. What is this extra $75.00 your shipping fee?????
