Comptech exhust question.

I have a comptech exhaust on order. I was just wondering... What kind of sound does it give off?

I did a search, and I didn't find anything.

Any imput would be helpful.

Thank you!

It's a quieter exhaust, similar to the Tanabe Medallion Touring. It's basically a little throatier than the stock setup.

Thanks. +1.

I was just curious. I wasnt sure if it was a throaty, or raspy, sound or not.

Thank you!

The Comptech sounds like stock when your idling or crusing around on the inside. It's slightly louder on the outside with a nice sound to it. But when you mash the gas pedal it roars and sounds great! Very nice and clean sound to it without rasp or a hint of that "fartcan" type noise

Two threads I found by just putting "comptech" in the search engine.

Comptech is the best overall exhaust IMO. RV6 and ATLP and very close behind with XLR8.

Yeah, I originally wanted Rv6, but I don't want to wait 2 month from now. I want to enjoy my new exhaust in the summer. Winters are harsh in buffalo.

Comptech is always so reliable too. Can wait to put it on!

Sorry off-topic, how do you like your suspension setup? And what setting did you put your RSB and Koni's? I'm leaning toward softer more than stiff.

I originally wanted to get a Comptech but when compairing them from reviews and listening to them on youtube vidoes I ultimately decided to go with the ATLP exhaust, just thought the sound was a little more of what I was going for
