comptech exhaust -> cleaning advise please

Anyone know how to clean (polish) the tips for the Comptech Exhaust? mine're literally dark grey...and it has "stuff" on it that I can't seem to get off...must be some sort of debris...it's black and melted onto both my tips....and mufflers

I've had luck cleaning the stock tips with regular polished wheel cleaners. Let it set and rub away. You need to keep up with it because once it piles up you'll never get it to look new again. Just clean them once every week or 2 when you clean your ride.

That's what I use also. Just a regular polish cleaner of some sort will work fine. Try to get something that is like swabs so you tear off a piece at a time. It will do wonders.

Brasso usually works very well. Its in a small rectangular tin can, its an all purpose metal polish/cleaner.

yup. Never Dull. Got a set of S2000 tips that had not been cleaned in 6 YEARS!!! To look brand new again.

It's a lot of elbow grease, but well worth it!
