I live in north jersey and im wondering if anyone around here has a comtech cat back system ? If it was possible I would like to hear it before laying out a thousand bucks! Also what do you guys out there with the system think of it? Does it drone at highway speeds? I removed my mid muffler on my oem system and was not happy with the sound! I don,t know if its related but ive seemed to have picked up a slight driveline vibration between 1800and2000 rpms. My exhaust guy fabricated a 4 inch x 8 inch magnaflow muffler that replaced the oem mid muffler and that took care of the raspy sound between2500 and3000 rpms but that slight buzziness is still there.Im wondering if anybody else has had this experience? Now im trying to decide what if anything todo next?

 

I just put me ct cat back on monday i live in brick near pt pleasant. I love the way it sounds. No drone inside the car at any rpm. Exhaust isnt loud at all inside the car at any speed or rpm. I had my brother get on it past my shop and its decently loud outside the car. It is perfect for what our cars are LUXURY cars. I will be putting my blower on tomorrow so ill let you know how that is. If your interested in hearing it ill be going to englishtown this wed or fri to see what times i can get with the ct parts. Also if you looking into a s/c i can tell you were to get one for $3800 shipped without a group buy. Also i am an ase certified technician for the past 12 years and i could do the install for you for half of what shops normally charge. Let me know if your interested in listening to the exhaust but im sure you will love it. Ryan

 

I had my CT exhaust installed a few weeks ago. When I first started it up, I was almost disappointed. It sounded like stock. But since then, it has gotten slightly louder. I'm glad I don't have the inside drone that some have experienced. I might have the latest version of the CT exhaust, which they say is more quiet. At $1K, it's hard to recommend for all, but so far, I like it.
