Comptech cat back exhaust question...

hey guys...i have a 04 tl 6speed with a comptech cat back exhaust...i was wondering if anyone knows if i take out the resenator and just add a piece of stainless steel pipe , would it sound simular to the atlp non resenated exhaust?...or would it just give me a deeper sound?....

I had a COMPTECH Exhaust with an Aero Resonator and it sounded perfect. Deeper in a way. Sounds similar, to me, like a slightly less dB Greddy and ATLP exhaust.
