I have not seen many TL owners with the K&N Typhoon, but I have it and love it . So +1 K&N Typhoon vote from me.

AEM is the most popular intake for the 3rd gen TL. FUJITA also offers a good in take. Injen post a littles less hp.

PM me if you need any of them.

I could be wrong (I dont think I am) but they dont make the V2 intake for the TL. Only option from AEM is the CAI, I have it, I love it. I did a lot of research before I got it and found it to be the best in my opinion(with the help of others opinions).

The AEM CAI gives approximately 15 hp and it will give that mean growl at high rpm's especially when VTEC is engaged. I happened to found one from a private seller a couple of weeks ago for $110, which was a HOT deal compared to retail. I think its a well worth investment.

Yes, dry flow. Also, stay away from K&N. There have been some tests done on filtration and K&N is almost always dead last, well behind the stock filter. Plus when they require oil you can sometimes ruin the mass air flow sensor with some vehicles. Some people end up over oiling the filters and it gunks up the inside of the intake and ruins the MAF. Bottom line K&N has very poor filtration, AEM came in first.

I honestly doubt you will be able to tell a difference between the Fujita, and the AEM. They both use identical materials, proven filters, very similar intake tube paths, and coatings. I would go with whichever one you can afford.
