Cold air intake?

I live in Orlando, FL and two of my co-workers that are heavy into cars said for me NOT to get it on the TL, in case I hit a puddle and water might go in and damage the motor

I want to trust but he is in to wolkswagon

wanted to ask my fellow TL owners?

You wont have a problem with water getting into the engine unless you are in a puddle deep enough to submerge the filter. You'll be fine otherwise, and the car will sound a lot better.

Many, many threads on this. Would suggest you do a 'SEARCH".

Short answer is unless you go through a heavily flooded area, you won't have a problem.
