Stay with the stock clutch it has plenty of holding power.

This. I'm full bolt on and went with Stage 1 only because I got a great deal on it, and because I wanted a lightweight flywheel. Otherwise, the stock clutch can hold the power I have. Get the Exedy OE replacement.

You can go with the 6 puck p2r clutch disc, I'm running it and like it a lot. It is a little harsher engagement, just enough to remind you it's a performance set up. It also works with the stock flywheel and pressure plate, so you only have to replace the disc, unlike most of the aftermarket clutch sets that require you to change the FW and PP. It's more holding power than you will ever need, but at the same time this is an axle braking clutch if you slam gears.

^^Like he said!

You simply need to replace the stock disc especially if you drive your TL as a daily driver.

Mine started to slip because I bring it to the track more often and had 253000km on it. I'm now running the 6puck disc and it's perfect!

You could also consider a Spec Stage 1 if you're looking for a slight improvement on a budget.

^^Is it only including the disk? What's the difference between the P2R and the Spec Stage1, besides the price ? :P

The P2r disc is a 6 puck unsprung clutch disc, where I think XLR8's stage 1 is a sprung more stock looking disc. The 6 puck is his highest stage clutch kit.

This IS a axle breaking clutch if you slam gears. The TL uses a unsprung clutch disc and a dampened flywheel. This mean all the shock from a hard gear change is going straight to the drivetrain. This is the clutch Rodney was using to Put down the crazy numbers he was with the turbo. The disc should cost about $180-$250. Look on p2r's website Rodney's seems to be down.

P2R is just a clutch disc. Spec Stage 1 is a Pressure Plate, disc and alignment tool.

doesn't the spec stage1 use the stock pressure plate? if so, is it just the clutch disc material that's different? what im getting at is what makes this a stage1?

No, look at his response right above and look at the prices for the stage one compare that to the cost of the P2r disc.
