Yeah ... but it was only a mission because it was the first time doing it .....it was a hassle to drop the sub-frame because i didint want to support the engine up top i didnt want to scratch anything .... next time its ganna take half the time ....the dealer has a special type of jack that looks like a table connects to the sub-frame in a 2 piece which allows to support the engine on the bottom and drop the sub-frame next time ill go to my boy at aura to do it

I do not understand your "out of alignment" statement. To me it just sounds like you needed an excuse to change out the clutch. The input shaft on the trans lines up with the clutch disk centering it so if it was not aligned your transmission would not be together or someone really godlike somehow put it together. Either way looks like a fun job.

The SAC mechanism is different. I have seen plenty of Audi's have there SAC mechanism's fail whether it be improper replacement or just randomness. I haven't had an issue with mine. Unless yours was defective or something I would take it back to the dealer and have a talk with them.

Nah it was my fault i was slipping clutch shifting hard at high rpm because of the stupid slave cylinder valve so it was going off adjustment .....And after i got my car tuned it was even more up top

when you say slave cylinder valve...do you mean you caused the issue because of the delay? or because you removed the valve?

The delay. I think if he removed it he would have said "mod" or "delete". This valve retards the engagement so power is delivered in a smoother fashion. The down side is that if your a speed demon it will cause pre-mature wear.

Just making sure. I did this a long time ago and have never looked back. Wait till you drive the car without it. It's amazing how much better it makes it.

I chimed in on Opel's thread and also had my own thread. I actually made the suggestion to cut a channel in the top of the slave with a dremel (where the clip is open so you don't cut it) to make it easy to pull it out. Worked for me.

TRUST ME...you're gonna love it. It makes the car drive like every other older Honda manual I've ever owned. I'm even thinking this was the reason people don't like "drive by wire" because it was around the same time that people got drive by wire that they got this valve and it sucks.
