I have an 04' base TL. I have done a stage 3 exhaust mod and am looking to install quad exhaust tips. I am not looking to dump a ton of money into a complete exhaust system, just the tips. Or could it possibly be cheaper to get two new mufflers with quad tips already installed for slightly more that will sound good?

 

i was where you are now about a few weeks ago. I ended up buying magnaflow muffler for a lounder/deeper tone. then i went ahead and got quad tips at my local muffler shop for around $85 since i had him do all the cutting and welding. also i paid cash so he dropped prices for me alot. dont buy online unless you know the EXACT length of the tips at every angle.

i thought i did, and i bought tips from a site and turned out it wouldnt fit when i placed it under the bumper...

kinda drifted from the point but try local shops for cheaper deals. then go online.
as for mufflers, get Magnaflow 11365

 

I was also in this boat for awhile but I have something up my sleeve, hoping it looks good and works out....I will post up pictures soon, might be another month or so. I wanted magnaflow or Borla for quite some time....I think I'm going a different route

SoCal sells quad tips but I dont know if they are still on back order. Check out our vendors or what jko did.

 

not sure if they are still available, but here are mine in an ASPEC rear

 

Keep in mind that my car is BASE bumper so it's very hard to find dual tips that will fit underneath without them sticking out and touching the sides. (possibly burning/melting the bumper)
