I think a Cold Air Intake is about the cheapest thing you can buy that will add a good amount of HP. The UR pulley and thermblok spacers are cheaper but you want get as much out of them as you would a CAI.

questions

Thanks for the advice guys, I checked out a few online and I have a few questions...How much hp increase would I legit gain, I've seen a lot of ranges? Also is the installation easy, and is sucking in water a legit risk?

From what I have read here, you could get up to 20hp gain from all three mods. I haven't heard about sucking water.

you could hydolock if you drive through a huge puddle. CAi can tke a couple hours. search the garage and all the how tos. it will tell you what to do from beginning to end

AEM Cold air intake took about 2 hours for a friend and I to install. There is a gain in HP, and the sound is amazing! Mileage also went up 2 MPG. The only way to hydrolock is if you're really stupid and go thru a puddle about 18" deep.

use a bypass

If you are worried about possible hydrolock, get an AEM bypass for the CAI. you can get them on ebay if none of our vendors have them. just do a search for AEM bypass.
