Cheap calipers

So I just found out the TL brembos can be bought for as low as $90-$100 online per caliper.... I thought the TL brembos were good calipers that aren't that easy to be bought. I'm used to hearing ppl with civics say they want my calipers on their car but is expensive like $600 but now they are so cheap....

They're probably not brembo or OEM callipers, you can get aftermarket stuff which is cheaper.

....nevermind I'm thinking of the pads.

remember that Chinese people doing really good job at copy thing, especially when that item is famous such as Philip HID , Coach hand bag, Rolex etc... BTW they also have their own Audi brand check it out it called Shanghai Maple. Brembo 4 piston caliper seem expensive but don't forget back in 04-08 period where Brembo brake is famous for OEM application such as 350z, G35 coupe, 3rd gen TL, Evo, STI, Genesis Coupe, CTS-V just name a few. So the caliper stock is at large quality in the market BTW the price for that link is $150 same as Delray Acura would charge if you buy a re-manufacture unit one (except it has black paint with Acura logo.

New $335 each, but rebuilt only $61 at Rock plus a $41 core charge would be added. Rebuilding kits are cheap at only $6.00 p/side, but just like most parts, if buying new, the price is considerably higher.

Yea but how easy is it to paint, plus they have it all cleaned and ready to paint. I'm not sure what the core charge means, does it means you get it back if you return the stock part?

Core charge is... If you don't give them your old caliper when you get the new one, they will charge you that core charge

OEM Calipers for '07 TL Type-S.

If you are interested in OEM calipers, I have attached two links with diagrams, part numbers and pricing.

The calipers noted above for $132.00 are new REAR calipers, not reman.

The Front calipers are $335.00. These are also new and NOT reman.

No Core charges on new items.

Remember, you get an extra 5% for being an Acurazine member.

The link will also have the rebuild kits if you would like to save some money.

I really dont see a reason to discourage the use of a reman caliper. for 135 each side compared to 335 each side. If you take the 15% off $50 or more thats $229 if they discount the core charge as well which they probably dont. So 243 for both calipers. Add some new paint and fluid and your set up with the brembos. Question is, is there a need to upgrade the master cylinder on the Base if you do this?
