oh okay...well i always use safety first even when jacking up a car (jack stands, wheel chocks, etc.) thats why i was thinking you was saying the jack posted earlier was crap.

I think as long as your are NOT purchasing these "discounted" tools expecting "commercial" grade out of them you should be fine. If its something you use day in/day out then I would recommend name brand/quality parts that do have the reputation behind them.
Lol was looking at the wrong tracking number they will be here Tuesday, still excited tho.
As far as harbor freight goes this is the first item I have bought from them, I have had zero problems with the jack. It's only in use for a min or so max, then I throw the jack stands under the car. So I see no reason to spend 200+ on a jack.
@swooh was just looking at my tracking number and it says the package weight is 15 pounds? They ensured me that they shipped two seats and the harness' but that doesn't make since to me. What did it say on your tracking number? I thought it would be around. 30-35 pounds.
Tip for installing the seats -
With your oem seats adjusted to your favorite position, measure the distance from your chest to the steering wheel. Measure the distance from the top of your head to the roof. Measure from the back of the seat (where the bottom of your spine should be) to the brake pedal. Write down the measurements for later reference.
Depending on your mounting method, use the various measurements to mock-up the racing seat before you drill any holes (if any). As an example, for me, I was using rigid mounts that offered no fore/aft adjustment (no slider bracket). I used scrap pieces of wood to mock-up the seat. I fastened the bracket to the seat and placed the seat assembly (with brackets) onto the scrap wood. I then sit in the seat and made measurements like before. I fine-tuned the positioning to where I wanted it based on the measurements. Gently climbed out trying not the disturb the mocked-up positioning. Then, I marked where the holes would need to be drilled thru the floorboard.
A side note - You will need to test if the center console can be fully opened. The seats will come very close to the pathway used by the console lid. But, hopefully, you will be deleting the center console eventually.
You situation will probably be different, but the above will hopefully be food-for-thought at least.
Another topic - If you are like me, you will freak out the first time that you drive the car with the racing seats. "What in the hell have I done???" is what I thought when I first drove mine. It felt like crap in the regards of being just plan ass weird feeling. Not that the seats were uncomfortable because the seats had always felt comfortable. But there was an immediate reaction upon driving the car for the first time that is hard to put into words. The driving sensation (not the seat itself per se) just felt creepy, foreign, alien, and weird.
My point is to maybe expect this feeling and to know that you didn't make a mistake like your brain might try to tell you. Give the new seats some time and allow yourself to get acclimated to the new "environment". It will take a few days or few weeks for the feeling to go away.

i did not have a tracking number as i mentioned but it was a big ass box with 2 seats and the box was almost 35lbs....
It's only one package
I did send Vanyda a email and she ensured me that she shipped both seats and unsure why the shipping weight was only 15 pounds.
Guess I'll find out Tuesday.
Guess I'll find out Tuesday.
Well today I think I'm going to delete my ac and rear bumper (been meaning to take it off for awhile), hoping that I don't run into to many problems with the install. Tomorrow I'll try to make a list of all my weight reductions I have done. Hopefully I'll be getting close to 3000.
Now to save up for some wheels.
Now to save up for some wheels.
I been way to busy with work, havnt been able to update anything latly sadly. But anyhow I never got a chance to remove my ac... I got called into work and been stuck there every day since. I'm hoping to remove the ac next weekend now, but I did get my car weighed. I'm down to 3140 static, not to shabby. Add in my dynamic weigh from my pulley and flywheel and I'm down to 2828. Pulls like crazy now, just gotta save up my pennies for some rims now and I'll be set.
^ Thanks, sorry been away for awhile. Won't be driving my car for another 6 months either
but I still gathering up some plans for her
. I'm saving up my pennies and planning on tinting and doing a full vinyl once I get back home along with be moving to a big/ better home can't wait!

Welllll it was a fun ride but when I get back in town in july I think I'll be parting out the tl/ having a going back to stock sale.
Pretty much everything will be for sale or traded for stock plus cash.
Edit: Might try to sell her as is but I highly doubt that will happen without a huge loss lol.
