CAI. Yes or No?

I never had an Automatic Transmission car b4...
This TL is my 1st auto...

I want to ask you guys if its stupid to get CAI on AT cars? I was one of those who believed that it was totally stupid to hook up automatic cars...
I bought an AT car in order to stop me from modding... but i guess it doesn't matter whether it's AT or MT... modding is an incurable disease!

my prev car... 2002 1.8T
b4 the audi, i had an S2000 but it was stock

There is no problem modding a AT car. Think American Muscle, 1969 mustang can be modded monsterous. 95% of them are AT

wow nice audi...nothings wrong with modding an auto, although you feel more one with the car if it was manual. But then again modded or non modded car really depends on the driver if the goal was to go faster or tighter on turns...

i bought an auto for the same exact reason and the modification bug bit me STRONG after 1.5 years of running completely stock. you can still get noticeable gains with simple bolt ons like intake, header, exhaust, etc. i'm not sure if it's available on the tl, but a hondata reflash or ems (engine management system) would do wonders

Begin the modding!!! A/T or M/T you still have plenty of options: pulley, intake, cats, suspension, supercharger, exhaust, sway bars, etc.

will a CAI void my warranty? been reading on other site (sellers of the mods) they say it doesnt cause the mod doesnt cause the problem. but i dont want to be in a situation where i am argueing with the dealer as what caused the problem. something about water getting into the engine cause of the cai?

well put it this way...anything that you will do to your car, the stealer will give you a hard time about it especially when theres a problem they can hardly fix....
