CAI and Fuel economy
I've been looking through posts about CAI and how much power it adds. Everyone seems to love it so I can't wait to get mine. Maybe in about a month or so. There is one thing I'm still wondering though. Does the CAI help increase or decrease fuel economy? I know more power means less gas is needed to accelerate but I want to know what's everyone's real world experience. Does it make a difference in the case of fuel efficiency?

I seem to be getting 2mpg or so better since the aem CAI. I don't know why, since I am slamming the gas even more to hear the sound, but that is what the MID tells me. I'm not even sure it makes sense... maybe the car got "broken in" at the same time (i am around 4k miles) and so it just seemed to be the intake... but I am definiterly doing a little better than before, averaging about 26 mpg or so with very mixed driving.
