you can probably get a few boltons under 1k, but for real increase in hp you will be up in the thousands ... supercharger, full exhaust like atlp, lightweight wheels, etc

~$200, AEM V2
CAI only welds mere single digit increases in hp.

That all depends on you.
Going I/J/E is usually a good start.

You can always do everything yourself.
I did all my stuff wrenching away in the driveway.

There's a lot of good threads out there. Search for RV6 or ATLP (j-pipe)

Single best hp to price performance mod for the TL is the RV6 J-Pipe. You should start there.

+3 on the RV6 Jpipe.

You know there should really be an updated sticky regarding performance mods.....

AEM V2 CAI - $200-300. yields minimal HP but awhole lot of sound
RV6 V3 Jpipe - $470. Yields about 15HP and about 7TQ
RV6 V2 Pre-cat-deletes - $345. yields about 15HP
catback exhaust - various vendors - from $900 and up.

to visit RV6 website to purchase go to google and type in RV6 performance. Look for the URL rv6.ecrater
