I went with aftermarket ceramic brake pads. I can't remember the name of them as I had a buddy of mine order parts for me.

Before replacing them the previous owner was basically driving on metal to metal. Horrible screeching when braking. Huge difference once I replaced them.

Edit: I believe they were posi-quiet brand.

Looks like '08 base to me. OP: you will be happy with either. Aftermarket may even be a bit more inexpensive. I hesitate to say "cheaper" because that can give the wrong impression. I went with Stoptech slotted rotors and Stoptech Street Performance pads for my rears. I will be getting the exact same for the front when it's time.

Take a look at the sponsors on this site, Excelerate Performance or Heeltoe Auto will hook you up if you're looking for aftermarket and Acura OEM parts will suit you if you need OEM.

I'd highly recommend getting better brakes than OE. Even our premium blank packages are more durable and will save you money.

I went with some evolution pads and they have lasted me an incredibly long time. But I plan to go back to OEM.

To comment further on Excelerate's post, the package that he linked you to comes with Street Performance Pads. If you don't want the added performance and just want something clean/quiet, we can swap out the Street pads for Posi-Quiet Ceramic pads which will perform the same as stock if not a little better but are very clean and quiet.
