blower surge (knock sensor)...

so my CEL p0325 (knock sensor) which refused to go away after replacing the sensor under warranty forced me to look elsewhere.

As per this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/nws-safe-sex-tv-ad-152628/. I unhooked the knock sensor wires (blue/red not green/red) to bypass the ACM and viola CEL was gone.

Now the important thing. I had a hondata reflash when my blower was installed (a year ago) and very very minimal surge. But 6 months ago (when i had the unfortunate valve bending) i started experiencing surge but attributed it to the valves. after the valves were replaced i still had the surge but since i had been living with it for so long i kinda forgot that it wasn't supposed to be there with the reflash and all. So the knock sensor wires bypassed the ACM, the surging went away!

The point is for those who have this surging problem why not try to modify this and see what happens??

p.s. i tried calling comptech yesterday and today to verify this and get any tech support but they were unresponsive..

Sweet, I'm glad it worked out. I have no CEL, but the surge is still there, so I might give this a try.

Yeah, Comptech isn't even picking up the phone, so it looks like my vibration issue won't be resolved anytime soon
