Best Setup for Most Gains.
i currently have a Greddy Evo 2 catback and i am wondering which j pipe will give the best gains with whp and wtq (as no setups are the same) and absolutely NO RASP. i got the greddy to fix my rasp from removing mid muffler and resonator. and i forsure dont wanna bear that again. i was thinking ATLP or XLR8. any suggestions, tips, tricks, help, advice?
thanks and have a nice day acurazine.
ps. if you could post gains of hp wtq of each j pipe and rasp level from 1-10 it would be greatly appreciated .

Nobles, come on bro. Search the forums and research!
RV6 V3 gives more high end power, XLR8 gives more low end power.

You will have rasp once you remove the 3rd cat.

I don't why people continue to think this. Deleting the third cat will not, in and of itself necessarily cause rasp. I have RV6 HFPC, ATLP V1 and race pipe and Excelerate cat back and I have no rasp at all. Zilch, zero, nada.

From what I hear, the RV6 will be a little raspy regardless of the rest of the setup. Could be the very long primaries. I hope the Excelerate doesn't since that's probably what I'll replace my ATLP with.

For a point of reference, when i installed ONLY my RV6 j-pipe with stock exhaust there was absolutely NO rasp...when I installed the PCDs I have rasp between 3-4k rpms only...the PCDs add the rasp, the j-pipe by itself does not...

Stock exhaust here, with RV6-Jpipe, no rasp.

Wait on the ATLP V2-R jpipe this summer if it does come out of production if you're not in a hurry like me. Materialize I'd go with XLR8's jpipe over RV6. Search is your best option and your best likes/dislikes will be experiementation, try out each one, since there's only a few made out on our cars.

listen, when you change anything exhaust wise, you're messing with a lot of different variables.
no one has your exact setup.
there are currently 2 latest and greatest jpipes.
the rv6 and the xlr8.
NONE of them ARE MADE TO RASP.
but with different factors, yours can rasp.
ffs, you experimented with your accord exhaust, why cant you do the same with one of the jpipes?

When I had the Greddy EVO II I didn't experience rasp until I did the PCD and J pipe.
